Monday, I headed back to Becky's in Hellesdon. Since then I've pretty much done nothing but read numerous crime-fiction novels, and research and contact various people/bands/PR/managers for this uni project.
Right now, I should be in London on Work Experience - again, for a uni project - but I'm here in Norwich instead, and seeing as how one of the projects for the next year is about a pub/music venue in Norwich, I thought I'd make the most of my time here... makes sense to me!
Yesterday (Wednesday) I emailed a few more bands/managers and kind of got somewhere at last! Now I've said that, it'll be even harder. Damn. Trust me to jinx myself. Anyway... in emailing one manager, I actually achieved killing 3 birds with the one stone... um... email. Yes, the manager in question (for Bring Me The Horizon) was also once in two other bands who also played the venue. Hurrah! Watch me fail to find more bands/people willing to help... Bum.
I also found quite a few bands last night that no longer exist, prompting me to call for a total ban on bands splitting up. I've already threatened to remove eyeballs should they dare to break my rules. I'm confident I've made my point.
